Food was great! My co-worker and I had a great time and really enjoyed our meals. It was nice to not be bothered by our waitress with constant questions about how the food tasted. I enjoyed the options and the waitress being helpful with the descriptions of the food. I think they have great food options. It's important to note, if you ask for water it will be bottled and you will be charged, you might as well get an actual drink.

Good local ethiopian food restaurant I had tabor shared with 2 other friends and it was good. I like all the veggies. They come with 9 different veggie. I really like chicken dish for 3 different meat dish. We were so full. We couldn't finish the whole thing but almost finished it. Probabaly we didnt need to order extra bread thing. The waitress was very nice. The restaurant has a casual vibe. It also connected to the store next door. I think it is a good place to have Ethiopian food in Baltimore. I think it is good to have many friends to this restaurant if you want to try a little bit of every dish they have.

My best friend is Ethiopian and her mom makes authentic food weekly. I love it each time. I was craving so I thought why not give one of these restaurants a try. I chose this location because of reviews and the good pricing. My experience all around was great. The guy I placed my order with on the phone was friendly and helpful. He helped me decide between two dishes. I chose the doro wot platter. It is the main ethiopian dish and the white on the top right is made out of cheese n milk its like feta cheese but a diff flavor n taste. The chicken was so tender and the meal its self was very flavorable . I wished it was a little spicer. I should have asked for berbere. Regardless I was full, satisfied and would go back.

Such succulent flavors for one who misses great Ethiopian Food (yeah, I’m calling out NYC for their overpriced Ethiopian). The Awaze Lamb Tibs were perfectly spicy and not gamey at all. The Shiro (chickpeas) were also wonderfully spiced and paired perfectly with the injera! The lentils and gomen were top notch! Service was fantastic! Everyone was so friendly and attentive! This place is a gem, and absolutely worth a visit!

I had my first ever Ethiopian meal here and it was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was great. My server was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, explaining the different dishes and showing me how to eat with my hands. I opted for the 50/50 plate with lega tibs, which was a delicious combination of meat and vegetables. Despite the slightly sketchy surroundings, the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Ethiopian meal.

Staff is incredibly friendly. The food was fresh. I got sambusas as an appetizer. The outside was flaky. The inside dough had a pleasant texture to it, and the filling was seasoned very well without being over seasoned. I got a veggie platter and was not disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed. You smell the food when you walk in. I will be going back.

First of all, the service is incredible. On the phone or in person, the staff here is delightfully pleasant. The restaurant is clean and I was transfered by the Ethiopan music videos that they play in the background. The star of the show is the food. I'm not an Ethiopian food connoisseur (in fact, my prior experiences had been lackluster) but Tabor was a revelation. The beef was tender and flavorful and the spicy chicken had just enough kick to pick you up but no so much as to be overwhelming. The lentils were outstanding and, to my surprise, the pickled beets were sooo addictive. I will definitely be back.
